Intermediate student of Sri Chaitanya college dies by suicide in Peerzadiguda

An intermediate student of Sri Chaithanya junior college in Peerzadiguda of Medchal district died by suicide on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Varsha (17), a first year BiPC student. After noticing Varsha hanging from the ceiling by her scarf and in an unconscious state, the college management rushed her to a local hospital. Doctors, after examining Varsha, declared dead. Upon receiving information about the incident, Medipally police rushed to the crime spot and shifted the deceased to Gandhi hospital for a post-mortem examination. The police said that Varsha hails from Wanaparthy. She was feeling homesick and lonely from the prima facie information received from the crime spot. A case was registered and further investigations were underway into the incident.
